Daybook 1
If I had to wear a warning label on my head it would say "Warning Talkative" because I love to talk. I have always loved to talk to people no matter who they are because I consider myself to be fairly outgoing. Even if I don't know someone, I am always willing to talk to them and have a conversation. I love meeting new people because it gives me the opportunity to talk to someone I don't already know. I have always been interested in people's personalities and I really enjoy getting to know and understand why someone is the way they are. Even though, I love talking to people I also know when to be quiet. There is always a time and place for everything and talking plays a role in that.

Reflection
Looking back and reflecting on my first daybook I can see where I was a bit skeptical. This was the first daybook we ever did in class and I wasn't really sure why we were doing it or if my professor was going to read what everyone wrote. Although, we all wrote our warning label on paper, I found it nice to discuss what everyone put afterwards. This was a really great way to get an idea about everyone in the class and see what type of person they all were. Personally, I love learning new things about people and this daybook was a great way to get to know the people in my class better. This daybook was also a great way to get to know myself better because I had to pick what I would put on my forehead. Going back and thinking about when I did this I feel like talkative was a great word to describe my personality. I can critically reflect on this daybook now because I understand why I chose the word "talkative" and what this daybook represented as a whole. This daybook was a way for everyone in the class to get comfortable with each other and ourselves to begin our writing journey for the course.

I felt like today helped me a lot. Before getting into my peer groups I felt like my paper was pretty well put together, but I knew there was much more room for improvement. After communicating with my group and reading through the comments that they left, I feel much more comfortable because I always like to get other peoples advice on my work. Personally, I struggle with grammar, so it was nice for people to help me with that part of my paper. After reading other peoples papers I realized many more things I could incorporate to strengthen my own paper. I peer review group definitely opened up new ideas for me such as the way I can organize my paper better, and ideas like how to end and wrap up my paper. I am excited for peer review on Wednesday because I know that my paper is only getting better and stronger with the help of my classmates.
Reflection
Looking back and reflecting on this daybook I can tell I was really happy we were having peer review sessions that week. I know that I have always struggled with the basics and grammar, so I love to have people edit my papers and give me advice. I have always found peer review sessions really helpful for my work because I learn through other people and sometimes I'm too easy on myself and need someone to be the bad guy and critique my work. Also, writing this daybook was a great reminder of all the things I learned in class and what I needed to work on for the next review session. Overall, this daybook was a great way to get me started on editing my paper and for me to sit down and really understand and think about what I needed to focus on fixing for my final paper. This daybook represents my the beginning of my composing process because I was learning how to deal with the feedback I was getting from my peers and how to incorporate their ideas and changes into my paper.

Looking back at this daybook it seems like I had my ideas for my final paper together. I feel like I chose my topics very well for me to portray the misrepresentation of Schizophrenia within society. It is clear to me while reflecting on this assignment that this daybook falls under the category knowledge of conventions. This was my way to share my ideas with the class about how I was going to tie in Schizophrenia with different genres. Before this project I had never incorporated different genres into my own work. Now looking back at this daybook this assignment was a great learning process for me because I had to analyze my genres deeply. Each genre that I chose all had different purposes, tones, and audiences. This was a interesting way to introduce me into my final paper and a great way to teach me how to change the way I write based off of genres and how genres change the way they write based off the overall goal that is trying to be achieved.
