Reflection

When I wrote my proposal I didn't really know much about my topic. I basically followed the guidelines on the instructions in order to make sense of what my project was going to include. Looking back on writing this I feel like I rushed my proposal and didn't put much effort when writing it. If I would have spent more time on this, my research for my paper would have been easier and less confusing. Although, I got my thoughts and answers down on paper when I wrote this, I think it would have been better for me to actually use this paper as a beginning point for my rough draft, instead of just trying to get it done and over with. Overall my proposal illustrates my weakness in the composing process because I could have taken this paper as more useful meaning into my project. My proposal also portrays my critical reading skills because I had to come up with sources that I would use in my paper and analyze how useful each source would be. I never thought choosing my sources would be such a long process, however, now I know how important it is to understand whether sources are credible, accurate, bias, and many other aspects which could either help or weaken my writing process. In conclusion my critical reading skills were put to a test when I wrote this because I had to think about what source I wanted for my paper and why I wanted it.
